2025 Summer Work Study Position / Office of Financial Aid

Description: The Office Of Financial Aid is seeking a student, preferably from the Class of '26 or '27, to assist with general office work Monday through Thursday 9:00 AM-3:00 PM. Applicant must be able to work independently on various tasks. Confidentiality and professionalism are a must in assisting future and current students and their families. Position will begin on Monday, May 19 and end on Friday, August 22. Interested applicants may continue working in the office for the 2025-2026 academic year but must be Work Study eligible to do so. Responsibilities include supporting front office staff by answering phone, responding to emails and welcoming visitors to office.

Filming Assistant (Football)

Description: The Holy Cross Football team has multiple opportunities open for film production. The program will run throughout the spring season and the regular football season, with the possibility of running a bit beyond. This opportunity is great for any individuals who would like to get involved with the Holy Cross football program and learn more about our team.  You must be available for all practice times and be punctual. Examples of Work Performed Assist in physical set-up for videotaping of football events for both home and visitor cameras. Prepares for transportation of equipment to football events.  Assists in daily football practice duties of videotaping. Performs routine maintenance on equipment which includes troubleshooting and maintenance of video equipment for on and off-site football events. Performs similar or related duties assigned or required.

Game Operations/Facilities Assistant

Description: Assist in game operations at various home athletic events including Football, men's and women's Ice Hockey men’s and women’s Soccer, Field Hockey, Volleyball, men’s and women’s Basketball, men’s and women’s Track and Field, Softball, Baseball, and men’s and women’s Lacrosse. Specific duties include set up and breakdown of home athletic events, acting as visiting team and officials hosts, in game ball retrieval, and providing exceptional customer service. Non-gameday facility operations duties will vary by time of year in relation to in-season sports facility prep, but will primarily serve as a Front Desk Building Manager during non game days; unlocking and locking the facility based on provided daily schedule, educating visitors on building polices and tours, communicating to various staff if meetings are required, and serving as the first point of contact representing the Athletic Department. Various other facility tasks will include, but aren't limited to, windscreen hanging, goal maintenance, ice install, basketball hoop relocation, and other misc. tasks as assigned.

Group Exercise Instructor

Hart Ice Rink Assistant/Zamboni Driver

Office of Student Involvement Summer Intern 2025

Description: The Office of Student Involvement is seeking applicants for a summer intern. The Office of Student Involvement (OSI) Summer Intern serves in assistance to the professional staff in implementing and coordinating a variety of office initiatives and operations. Responsible for projects such as the RSO leadership development initiatives and office transition and planning, this student will enable the office to continue basic operations, prepare for the next academic year, and design new programs to better serve the student population. Although the OSI Summer Intern primarily works with and reports to the Program and Events Coordinator, the intern will help with projects as assigned by all OSI professional staff members. Job Responsibilities: The OSI Summer Intern provides a variety of services to the Office, responsibilities include: - Assist with office transition between academic/fiscal years  - Assist in publicity of the office as well as fall events - Perform basic office tasks - Other duties as assigned Time Commitment: This internship is a 12 week, 35 hours per week position. The start date is anticipated to be June 16, 2025. Weekly schedule to be coordinated with site supervisor and has potential to be flexible. Start date and end date will be determined by the site supervisor and intern. Compensation: The wages have not been finalized for summer 2025, but this position will receive a wage of at least $15 per hour. Housing is an option which can be coordinated through the Office of Residence Life and Housing though is not covered by the Office of Student Involvement. Assist the Associate Director of Prevention and Education with tracking all prevention programs and compliance training including maintaining current systems for documenting training materials and participant information. Assist the Associate Director of Prevention and Education with conducting  and disseminating education and prevention training programs, publications and materials related to the prevention of and response to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, sexual violence, relationship violence, and stalking in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and College policies. Research and create accurate and reliable content for training materials and publications as needed. Topics will focus on but are not limited to: Bystander intervention, healthy relationships, consent, boundaries, Sexual Misconduct Policy, and the Equal Opportunity policy. Create and update visual materials for training utilizing Google Slides  and Canva whilst ensuring the content is accurate and accessible. Manage training event postings for the Office using MyHC and Ignite Assist office staff with setting up and/or being present at training and prevention events such as CrossCheck, One Love Workshops, and more. There are specifc events that may fall outside of scheduled hours that will need assistance at.  Assist office staff with  training  and prevention event logistics which include but are not limited to: Setting up and/or being present at a training or event, reserving space for events via EMS, facilitating check in tables, and more. Developing and implementing programs that align with the comprehensive prevention education plan as needed. Other related duties as assigned Hours: 8-12 hours per week. Flexible schedule. PAL (Peer Assisatnce Leader)

Sader Center Staff

Description: The Sader Center serves as a source of recreational activities, art supplies, and supplies for clothing maintenance. Sader Center staff members are tasked with maintaining the space, keeping items organized, and handling checking items in and out for campus community members. You may also be asked to assist with event check-in or working in the Office of Student Involvement. Sader Center staff members report to the Assistant Director of Student Involvement. TIME COMMITMENT: The Sader Center staff are expected to work shifts assigned to them each week. The schedule will be set based on the student’s availability and will include weekend work. Employees are also required to attend a Fall and Spring training session as well as monthly staff meetings.  JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Although they provide a variety of services to the student population, primary responsibilities consist of the following:  Maintain the Sader Center by offering customer service, maintaining presence, keeping the space organized, and assisting with additional tasks assigned. Student Event Manager

Description: The Event Manager serves as the face of the Office of Student Involvement at OSI sponsored events during the weekend and some week days. Responsible for overseeing weekend programming, the Event Managers assist with event setup and assure that programs function smoothly and in accordance with the College of the Holy Cross policies. Event Manager team members report to the Assistant Director for Events.  TIME COMMITMENT: The Event Managers are expected to work weekend shifts and occasional weekday events; each shift will vary in length depending on event needs. Employees are also required to attend a Fall and Spring training session as well as monthly meetings.  JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Although they provide a variety of services to the student population, primary responsibilities consist of the following:  Assist OSI staff with event setup.  Provide resources and clarify/enforce policies for students attending programs.  Set up technical equipment (i.e. sound systems, spotlights, etc) and OSI equipment (i.e. fire pits).  Periodically check in with staff during events to assure that everything is operating smoothly.  Assure that the event is cleaned up and any borrowed equipment is returned.  Manage crowds and control room capacities.

Substance-Free Event Coordinator

Description: Job Description: The Office of Residence Life and Housing is seeking a motivated and organized college student to serve as the Event Coordinator for the Substance Free Community in Loyola Hall. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, promoting, and executing engaging substance-free events and activities for students living on the substance-free floors in Loyola Hall. You will collaborate with staff from the Office of Residence Life and Housing and the Office of Student Wellness Education to foster a healthy and inclusive community that encourages positive social interactions without the use of alcohol or drugs. Priority will be given to students living in the Substance Free Living Community in Loyola Hall. Key Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and coordinate biweekly substance-free events, including workshops, social gatherings, and educational programs. Collaborate with the Office of Residence Life and Housing and the Office of Student Wellness Education and student organizations to develop event themes and schedules. Promote events through various channels, including social media, fliers, and campus newsletters. Assist with logistical arrangements for events, including securing event spaces, managing supplies, and coordinating volunteers. Evaluate event success through feedback and participation metrics, providing recommendations for future programming. Serve as a positive role model and advocate for substance-free living among peers.

Video Production: Broadcast Production Assistant

Description: Position Overview As a valuable member of the Holy Cross Athletics team, you will assist with game day network production duties for the College of the Holy Cross. This position will work closely with members of the Video and Network Production staff to perform essential game day functions, including setting up and breaking down broadcasts, operating cameras, graphics and replay systems, communicating with other members on the broadcast team and more for live shows produced on ESPN+ and other networks. This position is an excellent opportunity to obtain hands-on experience and is ideal for students who are interested in sports and looking to build their resumes.
